Facebook says it plainly in its help centre: it does not let people track who views their profile, and third-party apps cannot do it either. The reason is simple. A visitor log would stop people from looking, and looking is what keeps them on the site. LinkedIn shows visitors because it sells that as a premium feature. Facebook makes its money on the other side of the glass.
The apps that claim to do it fall into two groups. Some ask for your password, then use the account to spam your friends or sell it on. Others take your friend list and reorder it into something that looks like a visitor list, using the same signals Facebook uses to sort your feed. Neither has data that does not exist.
Lock your profile if your country has the feature, or set the friends list and the older posts to Friends. Turn on tag review so you approve what lands on your timeline. Block the person, which removes you from their search results and their feed entirely. Those four moves close every door a stranger can use, and none of them needs an app.
