A Facebook profile keeps photos in four places, and the timeline only shows one of them. Photos the person uploaded sit in their albums. Photos other people uploaded and tagged them in live on those people's profiles, and only appear under Photos of you if the tag was approved. Photos they liked and photos they commented on are not on their profile at all.

What you will and will not see
Every photo carries its own audience. Public photos open for anyone. Photos shared with friends open only if you are a friend. Anything the person set to Only me stays out of every list, including the tagged and liked ones.
Tagged photos are the interesting set because the audience belongs to the uploader, not to the person tagged. A friend's public wedding album shows the person even when their own profile is locked down.

The date under the name is when it was posted, not when it was taken.
Likes and comments open by clicking the counts.
The album name links to the whole album.

Common questions
Can I see private Facebook photos?
No. This only opens photos that are already public or already shared with you. Anything set to Only me or Friends stays exactly as it is.
Do I need an account on StalkFace?
No. You paste a profile link and get search links back. You open them in your own Facebook session, in the same browser.
Does Facebook tell the person?
No. StalkFace never touches their account. It builds a search link, and Facebook does not notify anyone about searches or profile views.
Why do the tagged photos show more than the profile does?
Because those photos belong to whoever uploaded them. Their audience setting decides who can see them, and many people leave albums public.
Can I filter photos by year?
Yes. Pick a year in the time selector at the top of the grid and every photo link narrows to that year.
Is there an FB profile downloader?
You do not need one for a photo you can see. Open it and choose Download on a computer, or Save to phone in the app. A profile picture saves the same way once you open it at full size. Photos a profile keeps for friends do not download from anywhere.
Does Facebook tell someone when I save their photo?
No. Downloading or saving a photo sends no notification. Only a reaction, a comment, a share or a tag shows your name.
Saving a photo you can see
People often look for a Facebook profile downloader when all they want is one photo. Facebook has its own download option on any photo you are allowed to open:
On a computer, open the photo, click the three dots at the top right and choose Download.
In the Facebook app, open the photo, tap the three dots and choose Save to phone. Some phones call it Save photo.
For a video, the three dots offer Save video. That keeps it in your Saved list on Facebook, not on your phone.
If the three dots offer no download, Facebook is not letting you keep that photo. That is the case on a locked profile, where only friends can open the pictures at full size.
