Anonymous Facebook Profile Viewer

StalkFace Anonymously

Paste a Facebook profile link below. StalkFace builds the search links and hands them straight back to you: there is no account here, nothing is saved, and Facebook does not tell anyone that a profile was looked at.

Attention: this tool does not violate Facebook's privacy settings. 'Only me' stays 'Only me'. It only shows hidden content you have access to.

What anonymous means on Facebook

Facebook does not tell anyone who looked at their profile. That has been true since the site launched, it is stated in Facebook's own help pages, and it applies to the timeline, the photos, the friends list, the About page and the videos. Nobody gets a visitor log, no app can produce one, and the people who claim to be able to are guessing from your friend list.

So looking at a profile is already anonymous, whether you use StalkFace or type the name into Facebook's search box. What StalkFace adds is a direct route: paste the link, press the button, and open the photos, the friends, the groups or the check-ins in one click instead of scrolling the timeline hunting for them.

The one exception

Stories. When you open someone's story, your name goes on the viewer list they can see. That also covers highlights on the profile and Reels shared to a story. Everything else on this page opens without a trace. If you want the story too, the story viewer page explains what is and is not possible.

Common questions

Is looking at a Facebook profile really anonymous?

For an ordinary profile, yes. Facebook has never told people who viewed their profile, and it does not report searches either. Stories are the one exception: whoever posts a story can see a list of everyone who watched it.

Does StalkFace know who I looked up?

No. The links are put together in your own browser. There is no account to create and no lookup history kept for you to worry about.

Do I need to be logged in to Facebook?

You need your usual Facebook session in the same browser to open the links, exactly as if you had typed the search yourself. StalkFace never asks for your password and never touches your account.

Can someone tell I searched for them on Facebook?

No. Searches are not reported to the person searched for, and profile views are not either.

Is looking at a profile logged out more anonymous?

It is not more anonymous, since neither is reported, and it shows a lot less. Logged-out visitors get only the public shell of a profile.
